Its possible to damage it if they cut it at the wrong angle or if the razor is dull. Generally you can use a razor once or twice for haircutting before you should toss it. What do you mean it feels weird? If by weird, you mean choppy, then thats ok, thats normal. But if it feels unusually thin or weak, go back to the salon and have one of the other stylists look at it.

No, razor cutting does not damage your hair. It feels all wierd because of the way the ends of the hairs are cut. If you are used to the straight cut of scissors it will feel wierd because it is not what you are used to feeling. Give it a few days and then decide if you like that style of cut or not.

I dont know if it damages the hair but I think it takes longer to grow back. Mine felt like it did.
