Ooh, tough question. There should be a revised calendar based on 13 months, one for each opera.

Tannhauser is probably my favorite. However, the introduction to the last act of Die Walkure is great, as is the opera's finale.

For me its a toss up between Lohengrin and Tanhäusser... they both rock (so to speak).

I can no longer listen to Die Walküre with out thinking about that movie 'Apocalypse Now'
