Go ahead and just ask her if she is afraid to go or not. Tell her if she is that you can even have her meet with the pastor before church to see how well she'll like him or maybe even record one of the sermons and let her watch it later on to see how much fun everyone is having. If she's just worried about a few things, point out some stuff from the Bible and encourage her to go. Work on her slowly, don't force her to go. But the best thing you can do is set an example and start talking about how fun and exciting church is a little bit more often around her. Start even saying, hey at church we did this awesome song, or I heard this really powerful message, can I share it with you?

Some people do think that there's something wrong with a lil church -- for them. If it's OK for you, that's fine, but you have to realize that not everyone has the same religious beliefs as you.
If that's a dealbreaker for you, do this woman a favor and tell her now.

don't pressure her
my mum won't go to my church because she was sexualy harrased by a minister
maybe she just doesn't like the idea
maybe you should make church sound really fun anf then say "you shold go some time"
say this on and off for a few weeks and then tell her it would really mean alot if she went with you, if she makes an excuse ask her why and tell her she can trust you
lol

Some people are simply not religious. They don't believe in the big, invisible man in the sky and all the mythology about the tree and the fruit and the whale and the snake and the ark. Some people just believe in themselves with out a bunch of made-up stuff by others.
If religion is important for you, and it's not for her, she may not be the woman for you.

She probably isn't religious. She could have had a bad experience at a church at one time. Why does it matter so much? If she doesn't want to go to church, she shouldn't have to.

Maybe she's agnostic and/or atheist, and doesn't like sitting through a ceremony that means nothing to her. Or maybe she had a bad experience involving a church in the past and it makes her uncomfortable. In either case, you should probably ask *her*, not us.

You should ask her if she is a practicing.....well whatever your religion is. Maybe she is against religion.
Just ask her dude...what can go wrong? A little truth always sets people free...and I commend you for being a church going man. My fiancee is a non-practicing catholic, but because I go to church every Sunday, he still goes with me...even if I have to translate for him LOL

It may be against her beliefs. I personnally steer clear of churches unless I have a wedding or funeral. But I'd probably go check it out if one of my friends asked me too. Maybe she's too busy. Maybe she was molested by a priest when she was young and doesn't want to see him every Sunday.
