Im going to sleep now. I just wonder what I should ask my Mom to read me as a bedtime story. The Three Bears ? Godzilla ? The planet of the apes ? ( ohhhhhhhh...that sounds exciting! ) Tarzan ? ( ahhh...been there...done that.. with that old fossil atheist that jumped out of the goo )....ummmmm...Darwins origin of species ? Nahhhhhhh...enough of fun and fiction. I have to grow up some day ! I recommend you read the collected works of the great fiction author little_morphing_annie - It's guaranteed to put you to sleep faster than warm milk or sheep-counting.
If it doesn't put you to sleep, it might make you catatonic :) That's similar enough to be getting on with, I figure...
I'd be happy to give you a good-night hug, but if the sweet and precious Lord Jesus Spirit is sweetly present, seems to me he could do the job better than I could... Maybe even tuck you in and sing a lullaby...
Or is that why you need the comfort of a good-night hug? Because when you close your eyes and are left alone with your thoughts, you secretly sense that horrible absence... and treasure human contact in the absence of divine contact. I understand, hon, most of us have felt it at one time or another. It can cause agonising nights of self-questioning. Better go back to the warm milk, just to be sure...

Once upon a time there waz an Olive Flower Girl. She waz alone in the city, and drinking too much jello. People tried to tell her that you are supposed to eat it, and not so much at a time, but she wouldn't listen because she loved the colour lime. "LIME_JELLO" it waz her favourite colour, and when she bought a swimsuit it waz indeed LIME_JELLO. One day, she looked into the Internet, and lo! behold!
