Maybe, but they don't do anything for a broken toe, except splint it or tape it to the toe next to it!
A broken toe is probably the most painful and least sympathetic injury you can have....

Yeah, probably broke. Don't go to the emergency room, they can't do anything, other than what you can do at home. Just tape it to the second toe from the big one, with white medical tape, or a large bandaid. Gently apply to the other toe to stabilize it. It'll take 3 weeks or so to heal. It'll be sore, but hospitals don't "set" broken toe bones like they do legs, arms, etc.

May have but the only thing that can really be done is to buddy tape it to the toe next to it, and keep weight off of it. Good luck, it takes about 6 weeks to heal and even longer if you walk on it!

You are asking us what you have done to your leg? Hahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!! Your foot is turning blackish purple? Yeah Right! You have a knot on your shin. OK and you haven't been to a doctor right? Put down the crack pipe and back away slowly then get to the emergency room at the nearest hospital. Pronto!

It most likely is I broke my toe a couple years ago it did the same thing I hated walking because it always stung but after about two weeks it started to heel and now it just fine so you don't need to swet it.

It sounds like it could be, and if you go to the doctor or hospital you are only wasting your time. All they will do is tape it tightly to the next toe. Which is what you should do. Leave it until it doesn't hurt anymore, and you can move it

If you can wiggle the toe, then you probably just bruised it badly. If bone is sticking out of the skin, it is probably broken. :)
Put ice on it for the next 24 hours. It will help with the swelling.

it sounds like it is, especially since you can't move it. Try applying an ice pack and take an antiinflammatory like ibuprofen (advil/motrin) to bring down the swelling and see what happens.
To help you walk around, tape your toe to one of your other toes. That will give it support so it doesn't move when while you walk.

It's possible that it could be broken, But I don't think they do anything for a broken toe, Maybe just give you something for the pain.... I know how that feels too. Sorry

Maybe, but there's not much that can be done to fix it even if it is. Try putting a ice pack on it and elevating it so that you can get some relief from the pain and swelling. Hope you feel better soon.
