seriously...are we seeing the whole picture?

(or is it a case we're making something simple to seem more complicated.)

"God Loves You"
"Salvation is Yours"
"He offers you Salvation."
"It's your choice to accept/reject"

For "Am"...

the question is: "Does God Ask Riddles..."

the statements below it are simply examples of things we try and make more complicated...

I believe that it's we who ask the questions. God has the answers to anything we might ask. Being human however, we aren't always willing to listen.

Well, first of all the statements you included arent questions. So I am not sure what questions or riddles you are refering to. If you are referring to those statements that you included as not being complete thoughts or appearing to be only a part of the picture...I have to say you are correct in that.

A person cannot take statements out of the Bible and look at them as being a complete and thorough answer. The Bible is complex and multilayered. To completely understand a statement like what you have offered as an example, a person would need to read more of the context of the Bible as a whole and around those statements.

But, if you are actually referring to the Bible as a whole seeming incomplete or like we are missing something..I would also have to agree. God's ways are not man's ways and Gods thoughts are not mans thoughts. How could we fathom the very thoughts of God? How could He write down all of His thoughts in a way that mere humans could understand?

God gave us everything we NEED to know to survive this world and gain eternal life. What we need to know is not the same as knowing everything.

God loves you...because He created you. Even like a parent whose child has treated them horribly and stolen from them still welcoming the child home when they come back in repentance.

Salvation is yours, He offers you salvation, and Its your choice to accept or reject all go together. Its not love when there is no choice. Love is a choice. God doesnt choose to love..He is love. But He wants it to go both ways. He gave us the ability to choose which path our lives take. Salvation is ours..but we have to accept it and choose it.

God's first request to man was pretty simple: "Don't eat from that tree" Man didn't obey and complicated things for all the rest of humanity after Him. Then Jesus (second Adam) came and put it simple again , he said all the law was poured in this: "Love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself" we do this we're right on!
