In college my roomate and I used to play High/Low. You put a deck of cards on the table and pull a card. It doesn't matter who goes first (as long as you shuffled). Show the card. Whoever has the low number drinks. Repeat. This is a fast moving game!
We got the idea from a similar game that will be more fun with 3-5 people.
Put the deck on the table. Each person draws a card. Pick someone to start with (youngest, oldest, whatever). DO NOT look at the card. Instead, hold it on your forehead so that everyone can see it. The idea is to look at each persons card and try to guess where your card fits numerically. If you guess wrong, you drink.
For example. If I am playing with 3 other people and I see a 10, Jack, and King, it would be a safe bet that I have the lowest card. So I would guess that I am in position 1. The next person to your left goes and tries to figure out where they are, and so on. The last person has the advantage to know where the other players think they are. On the other hand, after a few beers you start to outguess yourself. It can get interesting.
Have fun, know your limits, and don't feed the dog beer.

Well there is quarters in which you try and bounce a quarter off a table into a glass, for each miss you take a drink.
Heres a game that I kinda made up, its called coins, just get a jar full of pennies and you have 10 minutes to get as much coins by throwing them into the jar from 10 feet away. The person/team with the fewest coins wins, but heres where it gets messed up. For each coin thats on the floor, thats the amount of shots of alcohol or beer that you must drink.

4 KINGS
(using a standard 52 pack of cards spread out face down on a table around a big empty cup in the centre, each player has their drink of choice, one drink = two fingers on the side of your glass worth or one mouthful, shots can get messy very fast)
Each player takes it in turns to pick up 1 card with the following meanings:
Ace = Thumbs on table (last person to put down their thumb drinks)
Two = 2 drinks (Cardholder gets to allocate 2 drinks to any one or two people)
Three = A Free drink for everyone (everyone drinks).
Four = 4 drinks (same as 2 but 4 to allocate this time, max of 2 per person though)
Five = Bottles and Kegs (count up 1,2,3, ect around the table but every number with a 5 in it or has a factor of 5 has to be calles as bottles, every number with a 7 in it or has 7 as a factor is called as kegs, those that meet both requirements eg 57 are called as "bottleskegs" whoever buggers up first drinks)
Six = A Rule (card holder gets to make a rule that must be obeyed for the rest of the game, or else anyone who breaks it must drink everytime it is broken - this can be very fun as you can make it that a certain noise or action must be made whenever taking a shot or even make it such that one particular person has to drink everytime another particular person has to)
Seven = A Theme (Name a topic and give an example, eg. types of fruit, then go round the table naming different ones till someone can't - then they drink)
Eight = A Dare (Cardholder dares one person at the table to do something or else they drink)
Nine = A Rhyme (cardholder makes up a sentence which each person has to make a rhyme to with a new word each time, no "orange" though for smartarses, first person to bugger up drinks
Ten = Hands on heads (who ever gets them there last drinks)
Jack = Piss Card (Card holder is allowed to sit out either one of their drinks or one cards game to go to the toilet)
Queen = Reverse Question (card holder keeps the card and can later in the game touch it inconspiciously and ask one person at the table saying their name first a question (any question, "Bob, who's go is it?" counts) if they answer they drink, BUT if they answer with another question ("Why would I know Joe?) you drink)
King = Pour your drink into the centre cup to fill it by 1/3. Second and third kings fill it to 2/3 and 3/3 respectively then when the fourth king is turned the card holder has to drink the contents of the cup. Game Ends.
Worst centre cup mix i've seen was Vodka & Orange/ Blue Vodka Cruiser/ Beer Yuk! (it was a really pulpy orange juice too)

If you drink beer, try the CENTURY CLUB, it doesn't require anything other then tons of beer and a shot glass for each player. All you do is take a shot of beer every minute for 100 minutes, last person standing wins. (Trust me, it's a lot harder then it sounds)

you can get checker boards with shot glasses for pieces. Might want to used a mixed drink though...otherwise it can get pretty rough going after a bit.
