Christians are Chirstians because they heard of a man thought to be God incarnate- meaning, thier ancestors were thought to have had proof- I dont need proof, if I did I would have no faith. Christianity needs to be reexamined! What are your thoughts?

How about this. We need to get back to the basics of life. What God looks like is immaterial. What we do with our life in response to the message in the Bible is what counts.

Agree totally. That's exactly what was different about the Israelite God. Besides being ONE, no one could see Him and live!

Christians had many issues with Judaism besides following all those laws!

Why didn't they learn when God stopped Abraham from sacrificing Isaac that human sacrifice was NEVER acceptable to God. God allowed sacrifices of grains, oil, and small critters, but never humans.

That's what makes God's people holy (separate/apart) -- they don't do the things other peoples do! Christians longed to have a god they could see and a human sacrifice like their neighbors.

Jews have always been the dissenting voice, and have practiced what Christians teach about "turning the other cheek."

Look at all the people before Christ (which is why there are Christians- not faithfulness) who were faithful to God without having an image. They did not even have a name before Moses asked, "Who shall I say sent me?' Even Moses went up the mountain without ever having an image to form in his mind. The entire Old Testament is based on no physical image. What did you mean to say...

I don't need a physical image. In my church that's idolatry.
