To be honest, most guys are just happy to get to that point of the relationship! While I don't really care how much is there, I prefer it to be trimmed neatly. That being said, I would never tell a girl how they should keep it...

As long as it isn't a brilo-pad it is ok. Keep it trimmed, and the sides shaved lol.

Doesn't mater as long as its neat and tidy. I also like variety, so keep it on sometimes, take it off sometimes, just keep it neat.

a) it's relatively neat
and
b) it's clean and doesn't stink
