just found out have major problems with heart and lungs but lungs will be the one that kills me. how do i tell my family when my father is very sick and how do i tell my girlfriend when her dad past away 3 months ago

If this happened to your girlfriend or other family member, you would want to know. Just tell them you are scared and need their help. Do everything in your power to prove the doctors wrong and pray. Best of luck. You are in my prayers.

Boy, that is a tough one. Maybe do some research on the disease you have and have a family dinner so that you can tell everyone together. Explain to them your illness and hand out the informationed you've gotten online and/or from the doctor. Maybe you could also NOT mention the time frame of your life expectancy. Sometimes people live a lot longer than they are told. Good luck!

Maybe just sort of ease into the subject, and be calm about it, so they can be calm as well. The best idea could be to talk to your doctor about it, since he would know best on how you could get into this subject. By the way, I am truly sorry about that, and I hope that somehow they might find a cure for it.

well i guess you tell them face to face because as hard as it may seem its the only way to do it. letters are disrespectfull and over phone jus seems wrong. the best way to do it is to sit them down and explain the situation to them take them through it slowly.
