Somebody lied to you honey. Butter is one of the worst things to put on acne! Holy cow ... talk about clog up some pores!

Get you a bottle of witch hazel (cheap at any wal-mart, etc ... find it by the alcohol), and some cotton pads. Wash your face with some mild soap ... Basic works well or Cetaphil. Soak a pad with the witch hazel and work this all over your face, generously. This kills germs, soaks up oil, and tightens the pores. Follow up with a wiping of tea tree oil. You can get this at your drug store, or even cheaper on eBay (Nature's Inventory store on ebay). Even though it's an oil, it will not leave your skin oily and it kicks the sh-it out of acne. Be careful around your eyes.

Don't overdue it by using other products too... use these steps for a few weeks and it will work. If you stress your skin out with other products, like acne creams, etc, on top of this schedule, you may make it worst by irritating it. Just stick to the above tips and it will get better. If only more people listened to the worm farmer :) lol ... good luck.

....Well think of it this way, you have thousands of tiny pores on your face that produce oil, which also get clogged with dirt and bunch of other nasty particals. Butter has canola oil in it...oil, why would you put more oil on your face? It would clog up your pores and enable your pores to produce more oil, leaving you with a acne covered face the next day. You need to just go to the store and buy acne treatment facewash, use it twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening, and make sure you have proper face moisturizer, because thats important to the face as well. Or go to the dermatologist and get some further treatment methods. Butter is the enemy...

I think it may have been a sick joke. Butter is mostly oil, oil is what clogged your pores in the first place. I hope your friend is not a bad person, but I have heard a couple of jokes about butter face (what is a butter face? a girl who has a nice body, but her face...). Try a good non-soap non-oily cleanser and follow with a tonerr and a light moisturizer. Hope this helps.

I think someone is playing a joke on you. That just clogs them more, wash your face with soap and water to start with. Then try some of the over the counter medications for this. They usually work pretty good. If you haven't really messed things up. I would throw some alcohol on them too. It dries things up. Good Luck!

Butter is greasy and grease is NOT conducive to healing or getting rid of acne.

Some friend.....try PROACTIV. Go to www.proactiv.com and look at their product. Trust science, not friends, for medical problems.
