He showed me that my ways were croocked and straighten my path. I sometimes fall from my way, but he puts me back on track, when I hear him calling out to me. God, Jesus, the promise of the future, brings joy to my heart. When I see all the evil in the world, I am convinced there is a God. How can there be so much fiflth, false witness, jealousy, deciet, angry, hatred, murder, lust and there not be a Devil working his work? When there is love, caring, harmony, sharing, charity, you feel God, you have hope. There is hope in God, and this is my testimony. It is a scary thing to think your alone in this world with so much evil. There is a God and he is in my heart. Because God is love.

1 John 4:8 - He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

1 John 4:16 - And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

sassy_smart2000----what a powerful testimony! thank you for sharing it!

i don't know why the Lord loved me enough to trade his life for mine. it doesn't make a lick of sense to me at all. but i'm glad he did. now my job is to be the best Christian someone may know---and by the example of my life, make other people thirst for and desire what i have, a relationship with the Lord.

My auntie got me saved when i was 12 but i always knew there was something else...above it all. i love the sciences and as i got older and studied higher science the more God would appear to say to me, i am here i designed this.system, ...
without Jesus life would not be worth living, i know there is a God i have peace, i am content, i know that i have a purpose and a promise. This world is a sick, sorry and sad place, there is nothing in the wold for me..but to serve God and continually be refined until his work is perfect in me that's what keeps me going i can't wait to see what he will do next with me and the others that worship God like I do!!

I was a lost sinner. I was condemned to die. Jesus said, Let her go, take me instead" He shed his blood so that I could live. He loved me more than anyone every could or ever will. What love, what mercy, what grace.
But it didn't end there. As was fortold by the prophets many years prior, the grave couldn't hold him. He rose on the third day from the dead so that I may live with Him for all eternity.
It just can't get better than that!!!

You see it is not about religion, it is about a relationship.

Jesus made me think Christianity is all wrong, he was all about Yahweh and the stupid Romans made him a god... (if Rome owns your country, you're a Roman, so yes, they were Romans)
What kind of a religion acts directly against it's prophet and starts worshiping him instead of the god whose greatness he praised his whole life?
Jesus was a Jew, he praised the God of the people of Israel to be a much cooler and more relaxed fellow than the Old Testament let them think he was, and was misunderstood to be some guy starting a cult around himself.

But perhaps I am the devil himself, and my writings should not be read further than "Ch. is all wrong"...

what about religion that based on believing one God and the Prophecy is just man not a place of dependability. Because the word how did Jesus change your life, seem you cannot do anything at all in life. Then what the function of God. Be frank here, I believe in both but I depend on God in life. So where you stand now.

I agree with everything you have wrote in your question above.
Jesus can only change our life if we let him. If we believe in him and let him in we can step back and let him work through us. God does not want us to worship him because he makes us, that is why we have a free will in this life. So many doubt that God exists but i dont see how if you only look around at his creation. How do you think we got here in the first place. One day every knee will bow! Where will your heart be?
Don't be left behind.

GOD HAS GIVEN ME ANOTHER DAY TO LIVE,THAT IS A BLESSING,Jas:1:2: My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Jas:1:3: Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Jas:1:4: But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Jas:1:5: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Jas:1:6: But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Jas:1:7: For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
Jas:1:8: A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Jas:1:9: Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:
Jas:1:10: But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
Jas:1:11: For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
Jas:1:12: Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Jas:1:13: Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
Jas:1:14: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Jas:1:15: Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Jas:1:16: Do not err, my beloved brethren.
Jas:1:17: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Jas:1:18: Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away. I always felt that Jesus had had a hand in this experience.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Your brother don

Jesus changed my life the day He saved my soul. He made me a new person. I no longer enjoy sin, or being around it. I want to live my life pleasing to Him. I seek God for the will of my life. He always leads, and guides me in the right direction. I put my Faith, and Trust in the Lord. He never fails.

Well, Jesus hasn't changed my life at all. If his followers acted even a little bit like they were supposed to, then I might just jump on the bandwagon. But all I have ever seen are a bunch of cruel, violent, close minded fanatics who wouldn't know love if it bit them on the nose.
Where is the love you all talk about? All you do is hate.
