I bought a car from this dealer it already had a salvage title. Someone rear ended me when I owed 900.00 on it. His insurance totaled it again. They gave me money for it and paid off what I owed. Then they came and picked up the car. I learned today that the same car is back at the same dealer I got it from! Can they resell it again?

As mentioned above, YOU can only sell it once. Unless you buy it back to sell it again.

A salvaged car can be sold over and over. There is no limit.

Salvaged vehicles are often rebuilt by the same people that would fix them in a body shop had the estimate been slightly lower and the insurance company had opted to get the car fixed rather than total it. However even though the cars are sometimes as good or better than a non wrecked car upon completion they carry the legal stigma of "salvaged". They can, in liability terms be a no win situation, For example , ten years later and two owners later the car is involved in another wreck. An attorney for the current owner checks chain of title and discovers you as the responsible party for salvaging the vehicle. He builds a strong case (wheter in fact justifiable) that you are liable for a repair that contributed to the current wreck. So you get sued and you lose. For this reason the value of a salvaged vehicle is substantially less than a non salvaged vehicle. If in the case you wish to buy a car for personal use and are not intereseted in resale value it can be a tremendous value.

you can only sell it once, then the person who buys it can sell it.

As long as someone is willing to buy it, I don't see why it can't be sold as many times as any other car.
