Nah, it's better than Middle School anyway. Of course, if you've got jerks for Seniors, I guess they could make it worse than it needs to be, but generally High School is an improvement.

Being a freshman in high school is not bad at all. i wouldn't say that your life will "change forever" either. most seniors don't even talk to the freshmen that much unless you already know them or something. the good side is that it's a whole lot better than middle school, that's for sure.

When I was in school, our 9th grade was still at the jr high (it was 7-9th grades) so the freshmen were the oldest. It was the sophomore year that sucked so bad. The seniors did pick on the sophomores quite a bit, but only at the beginning of the year. After that, they were more focused on applying to colleges and graduating.

I don't think your life will change forever. Really, except for some loser Seniors who think they have something to prove, nobody pays attention to Freshman.

My freshman year in high school was fine. My life didn't "change forever".

no believe me, it really is less than no circumstances. it really is really corresponding to center college, even perchance extra acceptable, b/c you've extra freedom. for sure, the first week or so is generally demanding yet after it is going to likely be ok. and all those cliques and communities do not fairly exist. (properly they kinda do even though it really is compared to that a lot of a bid deal) like the conventional youngsters at the instant are not advise and snobby, properly a minimum of not at my college. (i'm pertaining to the action picture "advise females" in case you ever talked about it..) properly reliable success :) oh the in ordinary words real vast difference between severe college and mid. college is that the load of homework is way extra.. my advice: do not fall into peer rigidity and do drugs/drink/sex.(maximum persons of kids do not do it besides).. and merely be your self, and fairly attempt to relish it b/c severe college is a large element of your existence :)

It is as bad or good is you allow it to be. A decade from now you'll hardly remember it and probably not care. Two decades from now you'll be nostalgic for the days when the hardest decision you had to make everyday is what clothes to wear.

It wasn't bad, I was scared about it too. It was really fun though, I enjoyed it a lot more than 8th grade. If your school is anything like mine, it'll be loads of fun, so I wouldn't be worried.
