There seems to be a growing trend of men being more open to dating & marrying Asian women, whereas Asian men seem to be viewed by women as the bottom of the food chain. Is it the media's fault? Or old Asian culture clash w/ American culture? Or strictly physical attributes?

i answered a similar question to this earlier.
My friends/family and I have come to the conclusion that it's because Asian guys are not viewed as being physically attractive to caucasion (or western) females.
Western guys like asian girls because of their "doll like" appearance and size. Western girls see the wimpy, nerdy side of asian guys and evidently don't see much in that. Asian guys definitely have a disadvantage with size.
I have seen on very rare occassions, white chicks with asian guys.

Cause Asian guys are typically (not all) not as confident and as attractive (meaning height, size) than the the rest of the population. I think also that Asian men are more close-minded when it comes to dating outside their race than Asian women.

It's definately media's fault for making asian men seem unattractive. They portray them as asexual and nerdy types. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Its generally been viewed as a cultural thing, but that has also been denounced as a stereotype. So who knows.
