here are some.

what do you do for a puppy who seems to hate the car and throws up?

what about a dog that eats other dog poo when you walk him/her?

random diarrhea - what's a good treatment short of taking the dog to the vet (like over a holiday or weekend)?

what if the dog hates his crate? how long does it take dogs to acclimate?

how do you prepare a dog for a move across town (or further)?

what if you have pets that don't get along? dog-dog or dog-cat?

how do I stop my puppy from jumping up on the counters when we're out of the room?

Good question! Thank you! Husband has dogs in back yard, every time he brought one home he said i brought you a dog. He knew i was raised with dogs. Problem is/was my dogs always lived in the house too. So when a big beautiful cat actually waltzed into my front door (really not invited) I fell in love!!! (Had seen cat for a while here and there around neighborhood.) Turns out his owners had moved off and left him. We didn't start to really care for him until at least 3 months after he showed up.At 'prox 8-9 months I figured he was smarter than the dogs and wouldn't get killed -So I took him to the vet. Made sure he had his tests & shots& verify nuter or not. This required a follow up visit for the boosters,we did that. We also Got the best flea/tic stuff the vet sells. Two days after spending this money on my new family member he went missing. Trips to pound/ASPCA/driving area/calling neighbors for a week--Found out neighbor trapped him and gave back to people who left him 9 mos. ago!!! I didn't find till 'bout two weeks later! If you leave him 9 mos. DIDN'T YOU LEAVE HIM? Also don't leave kittens in the "country" thinking they'll be okay. CYOTES, DOGS,CARS!!! You never want to be woken to the sound of a kitten being pulled apart by dogs@2am on a rainy night?you never want to adopt a "throw-a-way" and find out it's been ripped/torn/killed by dogs. Every one should care. Pets should be respected. They give so much and so many don't give them any value..A heart is a wonderful thing I have a new "throw-a-way"we've ben to the vet. Hope this $500. isn't lost. "nother subject: Don't take your old sick animal out to the "country" to die gently! Doesn't happen! Poor cat, small in size, thought kitten-not,large lump on neck thought infection- get lanced -cat be okay. NO WAY! BELOVED pet thrown away I took to vet . $175.00 to look at /test for feline comunicable disease/ euthanize(after consult - cat petite & old). OWN A PET BE RESPONSIBLE!!!!!

You should write about how to be a responsible owner. Maybe on proper etiquitte. What should a dog be allowed to do: is riding on the owners lap while driving a good idea? Is smoking with your dog next to you is right or wrong. Having people at the dog park or elsewhere give ur dog treats. (they don't know if your dog is allergic to something). Dog owners at the dog park or elsewhere need to know when their dog is being to rough on another dog, so they can stop them. Well I ran out of ideas, hopefully you can use these and amaze your boss, and get a big promotion, with a big bonus and salary increase. Then you can give me 10 points and send me 10 dollars :)

Good luck!
Semper Fi!

P.S. Can you give us the Website and Magazine you write for?

How about writing about the animal rights lies? I can think of no topic more important to animal lovers than the true agenda of HSUS, Peta, IDA, DDAL, etc to end all animal ownership, including 'Fluffy" on your couch.

What could be more important to animal lovers than being able to actually have pets. It sickens me that they use untruths and outright lies to scam people out of their money, supposedly to "help the animals", when it is mostly used to buy politicians/lawyers and to push for anti-animal legislation. Isn't that ironic? People donate to help animals and the donations are used to stop them from owning animals. HSUS is now under investigation for their Katrina donations, most of which WERE NOT used for Katrina dogs, but for yet more fundraising, not to mention the hiring of another lawyer.

People that truly love animals need to be fighting for the ability to have animals. IMO, we are losing.

Socializing your dog is an important topic. When you are out in public you want to know your dog will behave around other dogs and people.

you might want to put questions about things like dog depression and dog coloring, and stuff. there seems to be big debates about whether u should be aloud to dye a dog. and dog depression seems uncommon but has become more likely and apperaing more. o tick season, a few reminders wouldnt be bad

the shitztu eyes drain because of the breed characteristics. when the face and especially nose are shortened, the tear ducts are rerouted causing constant flow from the eyes.
