I recently bought a new pair of Saucony running shoes and the air pockets broke after a 10 mile run. I actually like the Sauconys I have had in the past but I thought this was pretty premature for a shoe to wear down so quickly. And so you know they are Legacy 4.

Every time I've had a running shoe with an air pocket it eventually pops. Why do you want a shoe with an air pocket? Each company has their gimmicky cushioning system (Asics has gel, saucony uses a grid). Air isn't better than any of the other options.

I play amatuer football and I also train in full contact fighting so I am constantly jogging for conditioning and I gotta tell ya the best running shoe I've ever used was the Nike sphere.
