Did you submit anything to Powerball with the intent of winning a consolation prize? No? Well, then it's obviously fake. I get those all the time, and I've never gambled.

Cast your mind back, when was the last time you bought a powerball ticket and gave them your email address? You didn't did you.

If you win the lottery it's real easy to tell because you will have a ticket that you purchased in your possession with numbers that match those drawn.

Think about this...it is very simple.

Did you buy a Powerball ticket?
Did you give them your email address?
Does Powerball notify people by email?

Why do you open email from strangers who have no way of knowing you, other than spamming your email address?
