I fear the Lord and love Him with all that I have in me. He does great things for me and everyone else every moment of every day. Even when things are going bad, I still put all my faith in Him to make things better. I think some people don't realize what all He does for us. I hope they do someday!

How can your Loard stand by and see all the war, violence and crime and do nothing about? I know, I've heard it before, all that is caused by Saten. That doesn't explain why Jesus watches as it takes place. Does he get his jollies by seeing people hurt, in pain and dieing? Does he enjoy seeing the homosexuals, persecuted? Does he like the fact that people are starving around the world? Answer those questions. I mean with real answers, not some philisophical mumbo-babble. Then when you have those answers, I have several more questions. Here is one, show me some absolute unquestionable physical proof that "GOD" even exists. You can't do that and I know why, "GOD" only exists in your mind.
A book written thousands of years ago by one or more people and translated over and over through the years is not proof positive. It is a story and nothing more. It may be true, it may be fiction. I have yet to see anything to show it is true.
The most ill of you people are like the Rev. Jim Jones. Research him, learn a little. Then you have the ones like Jerry Falwell, Oral Roberts, Al Sharpton, Jim and Tammy Fay Baker and a host of others. These people were in it for the money. They built their "Religous" organizations like a branch of the mafi and vacuumed up all the money they could. The then proceded to live lives that most people only dream of, and some who have no idea that they could dream that big. Religon today, is a money making sham (scam) played on the public.
And I haven't even said anything about the ones who's infidelity, tax evasions and other criminal activity have been in the news so often in my life.
Find the answers I ask for, remember real answers, then get back to me.
Terry
PS: I see many "Christians" say they fear GOD. I thought GOD was supposed to LOVE you. Your not supposed to fear one that loves you. What is going on there?
And I guess you posted this question in the mental health category because you know that believing in and talking to someone that isn't there is a mental health issue. Good for you to see that. Now go to your psychiatrist and tell him/her about it.

A lot of pople talk bad about Jesus because they really don't know him. Plus kids might of had a bad experience when they were younger that made them not want anything to do with Jesus or any religian at all when they become adults. Their is the generation gap to where kids are raised not believing because the generation before them did not believe. Most people I run into that talk bad about Jesus is because they have never really read about him. I'll ask them if they have read the Bible and almost 99% have not. Also back in the 60's and 70's when you went to church they basically preached about hell and rim stone. This turned a lot of people off. Now they teach the love of jesus more. Also some people have read some of the Bible and it has scared them. So they figure if they don't read it they don't have to be responsible for their sins. I believe in Jesus and know he has been with me through all of my troubles and He has seen all and knows all. I trust Him. I'm looking forward to going to heaven I have been reborn again into Jesus Christ by the Father, Son and the Holy spirit. I like talking to other people that believe in Jesus. I do occasionally bring up the subject just to see where I stand, does the person believe or not? and if they don't do they want to talk about Jesus and being saved? If not I do not force Jesus on them. Thanks for asking this question I have asked the same one down through the years Jesus has been in my heart every since I turned 5. God Bless You with prosperity, health and his knowledge. Hugs!

You shouldnt fear anyone in your life, and anyone who makes you fear them.. that is a crime!
If people dont believe in jesus then obviously there views are going to be different from yours.. Fear does not equal love!
Besides you only "think" god sent his son to die for us.. There is no proof! The only thing that is so called proof is the bible.. and that could have been written by any tom dick or harry thousands/hundereds of years ago!
Again can someone PLEASE tell me how the lord is helping me because I am dying to know!
When Im sad.. My family and friends are there not god or jesus. When I have no food.. My family will help feed me.. Not god or jesus.. When I have no shelter.. I will give you 1 guess where my shelter DOESNT come from... How can you say he helps everyone every single day!
He helps YOU because in your mind you have thought up of this perfect little world where everything will be fine.. Guess what.. It wont be and until you face reality.. I pitty you that you need to have something to believe in to get through the day! relish in your family and friends.. they have been here for you.. not god!

I appreciate what you're saying and I quite agree. Those people mostly say those things not to attack Jesus, but simply to annoy us Christians. They don't know Him, so they speak from their ignorance. That's not really so unusual in this world, is it?
Another thing that many people misunderstand is the concept of fear of the Lord. It's more a spirit of holding Him in total reverence and awe than actually dreading Him, although of course a wise person always dreads His righteous anger! Don't let the squawking birds disturb you. Remember, the Bible tells us not to correct a mocker, and God has special plans for those who cause His children to stumble in their faith.

Well Jesus was just a man.....and thats pretty much it...If you study the bible deeply and research the history of the bible and the christian religion you will find the same answers....You are just believing what you have been taught to believe..you have to detach yourself from what you think is right and search for the truth....and only then can u understand why people talk bad about him.

Jesus Christ said that this would happen - His word is true. No one will stop persecution, rebellion, disbeliefs, or in anyway destroying the name of God, Jesus Christ, and the Bible until He returns.
Jesus Christ loves us - whether we love Him or not. Jesus Christ died on the cross while we were still sinners and His desire is for everyone to come to Him.
If you have a Bible - pray and begin to read your Bible - pray to ask Jesus Christ to show you how to handle the persecution of Jesus Christ and He will show you.
When you read and grow in your relationship to Jesus Christ - you will understand from His word - He said they would do this.
You may feel as if you're being stabbed in the heart each time - I do - that's because the Holy Spirit lives inside of us - convicting us of untruths we hear.
Jesus Christ will give you what you need to get thru these times - but they won't ever end - until He comes back.

I believe many are turned away from religion by the intolerant, self-righteous, and hypocritical behavior of those who most loudly pronounce their faith. (I certainly do not mean to imply such a thing about you, though.) If there is a Judgment Day, who do you think will be more kindly received: those who were turned off about religion by those people, or the people who conducted themselves, in God's name, in a way that drove people away from Him?
You are one of the few I have seen discussing religion on this site who has actually demonstrated some of the humility and decency that Jesus taught us to have. We should have more like you.

Some people are hearing what the devil speaks to them, and the devil of course does not want us to love Jesus, if we do then Satan loses us and loses our enternal being.I am sure you read the Bible, and it tells us to fear Jesus.I do as it also talks about the wrath of God. I have read some of your answers before I answered you myself and look at some of them, some are saying stupid iggorant things, and it tells us to pray for those type of people, others are like me and yourself, we know Jesus. The Father,Son and Holy Spiirit. all together they are one.Jesus also tells us "Fear not for I am with you" But we should also fear him. It may not make sense to some, but if we stop and be silent and think about it we understand what he tells us. You are right to fear him, as I fear him also. God Bless .

understand that not everyone in the world believes that you should follow rules written in some old *** book that has been translated many times written by strangers. you need to look inside yourself for the answers and not depend on some unknown spirit to come and solve all your problems. religion is for weak minded individuals who need a fear of something greater than them in order to live a healthy lifestyle
