My boyfriend and I have been dating for 10 months. We are very serious, are together all the time, and are intimate. But he hasn't said "i love you" yet. One part of me thinks we just take stuff slowly, like how we waited 6 months to have sex. One part says maybe this relationship won't work because he is not that into me. I want him to say it first. I don't really want to ask "Do you like me... do you LOVE me?"

I get your point but maybe he's had bad experiences of saying "I love you too early". I"ve been going out for 7 mths with my boyfriend and he has been saying how much he loves me a lot, and I've never had! Not that I don't but I don't see why I'd say it if I prove it every day! What's the big deal????
If everything is fine, you shouldn't ask yourself about it! Only do, if you feel bad!

Well it is different for everyone. I think you should say "I love you" when you are ready to say it. However, in your situation, you've had sex with this guy already, the I love you should have come before the sex! Sex should happen because two people are in love with each other, that is the beauty of sex. So, if you guys are having sex and he hasn't said I love you, than you should think twice about that relationship.

I think saying those three words is a form of communication and if that's how you feel then you need to express it. Maybe he's scared to say it and he's waiting for you to say it. Take a look at it this way.....if you say it to him and sorry to say he may leave the relationship, at least you know where you stand and you can find someone that is not afraid to express his feelings. Open the lines of communication, girl.

We told each other we loved one another around two months of dating... he told me first and I told him I felt the same way, but I really didn't. I didn't really come to love him till month 4 or so... and well, I asked a similar question earlier about what it means to love someone, and well, I don't know why I love him, I just know that I do.

When you can look at him and look past all of his flaws and quirks and you can will yourself to love him, that's when you should say those magical words...

Well for me to say i love you to the person i thought i was in love...to mee about a month to say...i can say we both loved each other and well it didnt last i guess cause we said it to fast...but it should be about 7 months or more before you say it.

maybe in his mind he knows he loves you, but is scared to say it cuz he probaly doesnt know if youd feel the same way.it would be awkard to ask that ending question.just wait a little longer, maybe hes just waiting for the oppurtune moment to make it speical...just dont get your hopes up

If you two are really that serious then you should be able to tell him anything. I understand that you could be scared, but you owe it to yourself to tell him. It's not good to bottle your emotions up. You never know, he could be waiting for you to tell him.

really for me it took 4 days,that was for my recent one,which i ended up bein hurt,but it all depends,if u really lov each other,and i think u should ask him if he really does lov u
