I served in the U.S Army and did a tour in Korea on the JSA (joint security area up on the DMZ. I think we should blow them out of the water before they have the missile tech to do the same to us. Bottom line nuke them before they nuke you. The only problem with north Korea is that they have huge huge amounts of Arti Trained on the south. So if we do start **** something like 400,000 shells and hour will rain down on the south. But I do think there will never be a war. North Korea likes to rattle the Sabre but they know if they get into serious shooting war they will lose everything. I think we should just attack everyone in the world that's left that hates the West. It would be huge wars and many would die but what a great world it would be if all this distrust and nonsense was over. I would die for that. So bottom line no there won't be a war. But there should be.

Draw a line from North Korea to a couple hundred miles off Japan & you'll find Hawaii is not the target. Better yet, try it with a globe & you'll find it for sure is going the wrong direction.

In any case, we're not going to war because of their stupid missile test. That was a two part test. It was shot in order to make everyone pay attention to them & pay blackmail "incentives" as the Clinton administration did (not starting a political debate). The second reason was to serve as an infomercial to the countries they've in the past sold missle technology to (Iran would be one of those) - this is the reason they made the axis of evil speech, not the direct threat they'd attack us or someone like Japan. That's all a threat, but one for 8-10 years from now.

I don't think so, Korea has nuclear weapons Bush knows Korea will strike if invaded . It won't be like Iraq their is going to be mass death if Korea is Invaded. Their people are made to serve the army it will be Vietam all over again we can't even finish one war why in God's name start another one . What do they want should be the first guestion and then tell them what the US wants, in return assure Korea we won't attack when they give up their nuclears weapons . Also i think the evil is turning people to do rash things man againest man when will it end . God never said thou shall kill everyone with a different view or religion . We should love one another and forget all the bull.

ok first off i have one thing to say the only reason Hawaii survived was because of a smaller unpublisiced country called The Marschall Islands. Their paid to do the America's dirty work basicly. Have you ever heard of the Marchall Islands??? Well Bush has taken advantage of this country as did many presidents before him. How do you say to the world "Yes we found these bombs have a great effect. They only caused this country and their people to become RADIO ACTIVE!!! well they used the military base in Marchall Island to shoot down the korien missile!!!
i doubt though well go to war because he cant risk Jraq taking advantage of that and also if he did every1 would be so pissed off.

I don't think we'll go to war with North Korea partially because we are already stretched so thin with the whole affair in Iraq. The difference between that and this is we have Russia and China to contend with, we can't risk pissing them off. That and American reputation is not so good in the United Nations because of Iraq so we have to tread carefully with Korea. We can't afford to risk any more antaganizing, besides North Korea has nothing of value for us, Iraq had oil.

It's up to North Korea. I don't think China wants to be drug into such a nuclear war, despite their capabilities. But everybody knows the U.S. is ready and willing, and I'm oh so glad. I've always wanted to wake up North Korea and China in an abrupt sort of way. I don't want to go to war with China, but if they want it, like they did in 1950-'51, well, we'll be there. God Bless you.

I hope not. That would be a very nasty place to fight, as it was in the 50s. But Kim Jung Il is a very sick man. If he attacks us, what else can we do?

I just hope that Congress understands what a devastating war that would be, and allows us to nuke or carpet bomb them into the Stone Age rather than putting men on the ground.

I don't think war with Korea is imminent at this time. Hopefully the nut case that runs that country (into the ground) will do himself in soon.
