Well homosexual, oral sex, and anal sex is in the same cadigory. The Bible says any thing that's not what god attended to be for sex is a form of sin. Romans 1:26/27 26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their woman exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Like wise also the men leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

Cursing is a form of sin. Proverbs 3:20/22 "20 The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just. I want to save space so you should read Jeremiah 17:5/6, Mathew 25:41 Exodus 21:17 " ANd he that curseth his father, or his mother shall be surely put to death.

Jesus clearly says that a man lusting after a woman who is not his wife commits a sin. Paul mentions homosexuality as a sin. One can debate whether it is the thinking of homosexual thoughts that is the sin (just like the thinking of adulterous thoughts for a heterosexual is a sin), or whether it is the homosexual act that is a sin.

Abusing ones body -- a temple to God -- through alcoholism is a sin.

Taking the Lord's name is a sin. So, that kind of cursing is a sin. Jesus said to let your yes's be a yes, and your no's be just no (as opposed to, say, "hell yes"), so that type of cursing seems to be a sin. I think that other kinds of cursing is probably sin -- it does not glorify God -- but one can debate this.

Lying is a sin (see the 10 Commandments -- thou shalt not lie).

Oral sex and anal sex are not sins when done with one's spouse. When done with someone besides one's spouse, both are sins.

Fortunately, if you believe that Jesus is God's son, repent (seek forgiveness for) your sins from God, and get baptized, then God forgives you of your sins, no matter how may or how "bad" they might be.

Homosexuality is a sin. It is also sinful to judge them i think. Its also sinful to allow them to marry cause that was only supposed to be between a man and a woman. Alcoholism is a sin. (like smoking) You are slowly killing yourself. ( suicide also sin) lying is a sin. Do you appreciate it when someone lies to you? Mabey you do. It is still a sin. Not sure about oral sex. It all depends on your vision of religion. To me, no...they're not with the exception of lying. To "Bible Thumpers" yes, they are. If you take the word of the Bible, anything in moderation is not a sin (i.e. alcohol). Cursing is only made vulgar by the laws of man, as are oral and anal sex. Lying, however, is listed in the Ten Commandments of the Old Testiment as a sin (Thou shall not bear false witness). Homosexuality is a difficult situation however, and the answer, like I said before, is between you and your God.

If you believe in the crock of the bible then yes they are sins. However what proof do you or I have that god or jesus existed? nothing other then a couple of books written about his life..
Weather you are in love with someone of the same sex, or opposite sex it shouldnt matter, your happiness in life should come first! However christians will tell you god should come first! All sins are considered equal in the eyes of the supposed god! so if anyone wants to hate on you for homosexual, cursing.. tell them to get bent! they are judging you, and only god has the right to judge!

I don't know if you can put homosexuality with the rest you have up there, for some it isn't a choice and a sin is just saying that we make mistakes, some big, some small, but none of us is without sin, if you go by the original meaning, which is missing the mark. The other things are chosen behaviors. Each act must be considered. Is it self destructive? Does it harm others? Are the sex acts consensual?

How can someone call these things sins if they don't know the intent?

The only "sin" is that people today and a long time ago preached to others that these things were "sins" and that there is some god sitting up in the clouds who is thinking that you are bad for doing these things. The people who preach these "sins" are just manipulating you or are brainwashed into believing that there are "sins".

Homosexuality is not a sin if you abstain from sex, in other words celibacy,,,,,Alcoholism, eh, everything in moderation?????? No, but it can ruin your life, faith, & or marriage which would lead to sin; ie: as in greed......lying is definitely in there as a sin, cursing if it is profound as in using the Lord's name in vain, oral & anal sex as is masturbation are considered sins, even in the marriage bed as it is a waste of seed, according to written word.
