Please if there is a doctor out there that can answer this we would be truly grateful, since we no longer have any medical coverage. I have NF1 and simply cannot tolerate the heat. Also the heat seems to cause my tumors to itch. Is this normal? ANY of it?

I have NF, and I sometimes am sensitive to cold and hot, mostly cold. My leg feels tingly when going into the pool if the temperature is 84 or bellow.

I have this neurofibromatosis type 1. I am not at all sensitive to heat. I'd like to know how old you are. You do know that there is nothing to be done about this condition. I use a good body lotion and that controls any itching.
