Where should I take class to learn Database Marketing?

Hi,
I' m a marketing professional and I would like to extend my skills set and learn Database marketing.
For instance relational database, SQL queries..
I'm located in San Francisco Bay area what is the best place to take class ?
Should I do a certification?
