I have seen many Indonesian names prefixed with Pt. I assuming it is similar to Mr.=Mister. What does it stand for and mean. So how would you address someone in Indonesia (similar to Mr. X in the west)? Is Pt. only for men? If so. what is the female equivalent?

It means Perseroan Terbatas, which is similar to an LLC in the US.
