I have also fought major depression. Can't get out of bed, see anything positive, etc. I eventually got on Amitriptilyne, which is a very mild anti-depressant. I am not on it anymore and the last episode I had was over a year ago. I could not listen to music when I was depressed. What would help me was to force myself out of bed. I would take a shower and shave and spend an hour grooming, then put on my best outfit and go out for a drink. I would sit there and smile and it was like magic! People would come up and smile at me and compliment me and it made me feel so much better.

This sounds crazy but I would also watch Jerry Springer! Those people have REAL problems compared to my silly ones!

I dont like my life. I am a very bad person, I take advantage of people and situations alike and I feel no regret for my actions. I've cheated my colleagues, rivals, bosses, and total strangers out of money and used that same money to purchase vehicles, fun things, etc. I have no conscious. Some of my past tactics have destroyed lives and families and I simply wasn't sorry. If I died tomorrow the world would be a better place. Thank the Lord that you are not me.

I have terrible bouts of depression, and during it all, I remind myself that somewhere in the world, there's someone else out there going through much more stress and depression than I. They seem to find a way of making it through, so I know that i'm strong enough to get through what i'm dealing with.

I AM GETTING A NEW ROOF! This is like winning the lottery. Our house was built in 1932 and still has the original slate roof on it. There was a hail storm and the insurance company told us today we get a new slate roof! I feel so blessed.

You are an important person. No matter how awful you might think things are at hie moment, I guarantee you that there is someone who thinks that you are brilliant. You might not know it, but I'll bet that it's true. People often don't tell you how they feel because they don't want to look like they are being unneccessarily emotional.

I use to have problems with depression- here's my advise: Find one thing that makes you happy no matter what (e.g. a particular song, brushing your teeth in the shower, etc.) and use that as part of your daily routine. Or just do it whenever you need a small "cheer up".

Ok, well you know one of the most stupidest thing I said in my life? When were honoring ronald regan, I said hey that guy shouldn't be honored what the heck is that, he was involved with the watergate scam! My best friend aka little sis, said it was richard nixon who was involved with it. I got pissed off for no reason.

I actually have had actual issues all my existence so I merely settle for them and artwork round them to slot my events and my operating existence, My "spirits" do not actual get "down", in an attempt to talk, yet from time to time I do sense somewhat surpassed over. i assume, in a way, I do carry "my spirits" by using lifting the "spirits" of human beings. yet another one among my nonsensical solutions.

Think about the things in your life that are good...live in the moment and don't dwell on the past...take a walk...read a good book...know that there are many people who are in worse straights than you and then smile.
