For me or anyperson they are the centre of their universe. The world goes around them. Why was this rejected as a religious theory? Other religions donot matchup on scientific findings either!

If religions are to be rejected on scientific fact than all religions should be done away with, If not than all conversion activities should be abolished and let people live in peace!

I believe this to be a true statement, but then, I hold some fairly radical, new age spiritual beliefs.

I believe that each soul is a perfect individuation of God, created of the same matter as God, and that together we are the sum (son) total of God. I believe that we are here so that God can experience God's self in the world of relativity through us and our life experiences.

God knows what God is, but the knowing of a thing and the experiencing of it are two entirely different things. For example you know what ice cream is, but experiencing the taste of it is different (and SO much better) than just intellectually knowing that it is frozen cream and sugar.

And you spelled centre PERFECTLY!!!!!!! :) For anyone NOT in the US! Since this is a global as opposed to a strictly American forum.

You are clearly the center of the Universe that YOU experience. That does not make you supreme ruler of the universe, just the most infuential person in your reality.

This is typically rejected as a religious theory because sovereign individuals are very difficult to control, and religions are all about controlling the masses. It is rejected as a scientific theory because we can measure the rotation of the Earth 'round the Sun and the Sun 'round another point in space.

The world both begins within us and goes on without us at the same time. Balancing the two realities is a spiritual disciplne. Have Fun!!

who says it is wrong? I AM is a very powerful combination of letters......especially if one can feel, or be made to feel a vibration in their solar plexis- it is an ancient method of 'connecting' to universal 'powers', and has been used for centuries in meditation. Science and religion are both man-concieved ideas- with science, things get 'dis-proved' daily; with religion, well, that boils down to certain 'controlling' devices.... certain factions wanting to control other factions- many religions are based on pushing fear. Yes, most people consider themselves as the centre (until they open up to compassion....realizing that everyone, and everything is part of the whole as we know it....) I think that all religions, and beliefs in esoteric matters- and science all have some truth to them (maybe not in a working or co-operative order....maybe somday we will realize there is more than meets the eye.....:)

I agree whole-heartedly. I am also the centre of my universe. All of our realities are skewed based on our individual perceptions.
