Dogs and cats have been so domesticated that they need us as much as we need them. So, yes. I love my babies.

Not everyone should own a pet. Only people who have a true love of the animal and will commit to that animal for life, not just until the cute puppy phase is over. An animal abuser should not own a pet. Only people who can afford the best vet care should own a pet.

YES. Dogs make great pets. Children have a friend to play with. My Miniature Schnauzer always went camping with my friends and I. Dogs also help teach kids responsibility. Adults/Parents have a friend they can talk to and know their dog will not tell anyone else. Parents know they and their children will always be protected. The elderly have a friend who help them. For example the dog if taught will go get the paper. My grandmother who was in her own world with alzheimers(spelling may be incorrect) always had my Aunt's dog laying in her lap and she would pet him all day.

Yes if you are able to take care of it and give it the attention it needs. And are able to give it proper vet. care. If not then the answer is no. But pets bring such love and fun into our lives that I can't imagine being without one.

yes, pets have been shown to lower blood pressure. They love you unconditionally , never talk back and are always happy to see you.
