I am not a professional, but if I remember a conversation I had with my hairdresser, texturizers were made to give short styles a little wave pattern, not shoulder length styles. Some have had success by putting a relaxer on the hair for a very very short period of time to achieve the desired results of a texturizer. However, I suggest strongly you consult a professional before moving forward.

First, I'd asked a hair stylist.
It may be possible to do it IF YOUR HAIR IS CHEMICAL FREE.
Meaning that...you've never put any chemicals in your hair before.
(No perm, no colors, no relaxers, no bleach)......Virgin hair.
If you have used any chemical on your hair before...she will suggest that you cut your hair REAL LOW and as it starts to grow back to the desired length you want....then you can texturize it.
Good Luck....but I think texturizers are for short hairstyles.

I think that you can, but the product wouldn't be enough. You would need to buy more than one package. If you are trying to acheive wavy hair, you might as well get a perm (not a relaxer!)...
