Take him to a vet and don't delay. It can be very serious. My dog hurt his leg and was limping for a day before I took him to the vet the next morning. By the morning, he was dragging his rear-end. He ended up somehow ripping his ligament in his back legs which is still being treated.

You need to find a vet hospital ... not just any vet, as most offices do not have xray machines and such. Since it's a back issue, the poor dog will most likely need xrays and possibly surgery depending on the nature of the injury. I would suggest getting him there as soon as possible because spinal injuries only get worse with time! Best of luck!

If he can move his legs, it may not be serious. You can give him aspirin (dose him like you would a child of the same weight) and keep him quiet and see how he feels tomorrow. If he is having trouble moving his legs, you should get some help right away and move him carefully to the car, using a sheet or blanket to carry him, and get him to an emergency vet.

Take him to the vet! Whenever an animal is sick or injured, *don't* waste time posting a question here; take them to a vet or to an animal hospital. Please! While you are asking your question, your dog is suffering!
I'm sure you don't mean to do that to him, but no one here can tell you anything safe to help him, except, take him to a vet!

Take him to your vet or find a 24 hour emergi-vet. They may need to do x-rays and prescribe medication. Do no give him anything over the counter until you consult with a vet.

Take him to the vet! But, be very careful moving him. if you have a board, stabalize him on that to move him. You don't want to increase any damage already done.
