Try not thinking about him too much. But it's good to take time every once in a while to talk or think about him to get out of some of the tension, and so that it all doesn't rush out at once, like when you are trying to sleep.
I absolutely hate my ex-boyfriend and I still have dreams about him sometimes. There used to be a lot more, but the dreams would haunt me because I was allowing them to. If you deal with it normally then you will feel and sleep much better.

Our dreams are our subconscious mind bringing those thoughts forward to us. You mention that he is invading your dreams; however, you fail to mention what the dreams are about. There can be many interpretations of dreams. If you wish to give a little more detail, I think it may help some of us to help you with interpretations.

i would probably first figure out what he is doing in your dream, and relate that to your life right now. is there something going on in your life that reminds you of him? what does he do in your dream? Are you sure you are completely over him? It could be guilt if there is something to feel guilty about. i would suggest you clear your mind before going to sleep. a lot of people believe that you dream about the last thing you thought about before you go to sleep, so try that. there are so many reasons you could be having dreams about him, but if it continues, and becomes really bothersome, i would suggest seeking counseling. there could be something underlying that needs to be addressed.

You might not be in love with the man anymore, but I think this is a sign that you still care for him. And really there isn't much you can do about the dreams, they'll pass eventually.

find you some one else so you will have something more to think about, just shuting him out will not get you over him, you got to replace the feeling, or space that he took up in your life.
