I bet neither one of them could make me healthy. Now, THAT would be a miracle.

That is an excellent question.

We must remember that Blaine and Angel only explain some of their tricks, not all of them. If they were all that easy to do, then why haven't veteran magicians much more experienced than they are also have television shows and become millionaires?

Answer: because they cannot duplicate all of their "tricks."

Blaine and Angel do not want to prove that telekinesis exists. They prefer to be in the limelight as illusionists and continue to be wealthy and popular. It would not behoove them to have scientific tests done to prove their telekinetic Gifts. So they don't pursue it.

As far as your question is concerned...

If someone were to really manifest something spectacular - like blowing up one's body with dynamite and then re-creating it with The Light in front of thousands of people - then many would immediately say that it must be just a trick or he would be doing something much more important - like working for the government.

Truth is, people like Blaine and Angel are much wealthier doing what they do than if they worked for the government and they also get to be in the limelight as well, which they crave.

If the magicians themselves could not explain how their tricks were done.
