The Divine is er... uh... well... er.... way more complex then anyone can even begin to fathom. On top of that we're all individuals with our own unique perspective. So if you ask any two persons to describe the same sunset there will be commonalities in their description but the descriptions will be different. The Divine is far more complex then any sunset so how we approach the Divine will be different.
Huh...
That was clear as mud.

Because Satan doesn't want people to find the truth, so, by confusing the people he can keep people from finding the true God, and worshipping him instead of the true God! That's how he gets worship with out people realising they are worshiping him! No wonder, the Bible says, that we must worship God in Spirit and truth! (John4:24) So we need to search out the truth about God, as for hidden treasures! because there is only one truth among many liesfrom Satan, one true religion and many many false ones! Think about it Would it be reasonable to think that there are many truths, especialy when they disagree with one another? Of course not! But that is what Satan wants people to believe, and unfortunately a lot of people do believe that! I have heard it said:"All roads lead to God! But is that really the case? Not according to what the Bible says. If it were true, then, we wouldn't need the Bible and it wouldn't matter at all, what we do, we would be accepted by God, yes maybe, but which God? The true God, or the one who poses as being the true god. (Satan)? We therefore need to ask ourselves: Really whose side are we on?What do our actions say about that?Have we really researched what the Bible says when it comes to what we believe?Or are we just going along with the crowd?

all religions have one thing in common. it's the need to control and it's done in a variety of fashions but the end result is the same. control by all means possible. they use catchphrases like faith to cow a person into being on their side. only once you are there then you have to donate your money. look at the Mormons everyone must donate 1 tenth of their yearly earnings to the church. and it doesn't matter which religion you ask because they're all the same.

Well, if you think about it, the (sort of) root to protestant is protest. Some people protested the beliefs and actions of a religion and decided to make their own religion that had similar beliefs and such, but changed and tweaked things to their liking.

Because there are so many different cultures, worldviews, goals, and even the historical era has influenced how people relate to their deity/ies. I also believe that there are many different deities.
