I've been dating this guy for a month. At first we spent lots of time together then all of a sudden he drops off the planet for a week. My friend found him a week later in one of our usual hang outs. He had been stoned for a week and he didn't bother to call me. Well he called me to come up there and I saw him for that one night . I think my friend told him to call me. Thats the last time I saw him. After that he did another diappearing act. I have not heard from him since that night. I have pretty much written him off. I have another guy that is interested in dating me. Do I contact the guy that's been not calling for two weeks and tell him I'm moving on or do I just not have any contact and just move on with this new relationship?

just move on... if he doesnt have the curtisy to call you and let you know whats up then you dont have to give him the curtisy to call him

If you think there is any possibility that he thinks he still has
a relationship with you, you are obligated out of humanity to
tell him that you are no longer interested. You should even
tell him why.
This doesn't mean you have to wait around and make sure
he understands the answer. Just use the guidline of
"would a reasonable person have gotten and understood
this message".
If you had a substance abuse problem and your friend just
disappeared, how would you feel?
Do what you need to to protect yourself, but if you were in
a relationship, you owe him at least a reasonable effort.

Don't go out of your way to call him. He hasn't given you the courtesy of a phone call. Move on and start dating the other guy who is interested in you. If the stoner does call, let him know that it's over and you've moved on. Be honest and let him know why so that he knows you're serious about ending the relationship.

I wouldn't be surprised if he contacts you later.
It doesn't sound like he's interested, and since it doesn't sound like you've both been serious about the relationship in the small amount of time you've been dating, I would simply move on. When and if he does contact you simply tell him that he didn't show any interest by not keeping in contact and you simply moved on. You don't need to tell him that you're dating someone else, that simply hurts the person.

Looks like the guy is more interested in getting stoned. I wouldn't even bother to call him, even though, to make sure that he gets the message, you can call him and leave him a message. Go on and start going out with that other guy and have fun...Good luck...

I think you should just move on...he obviously doesn't value the precious girl he recieved. So why give him the courtesy of letting him know its over...hell he's prolly too stoned to even care. Just move on, brush him off your shoulder and enjoy what you have with your new bf. Eventually your stoner ex will come out of his drug enduced daze and realize he lost ya...and who knows it might just be a life changing experience... ;-) just a little bit ta get your ego up there...hehe...

I would tell him to wake up and make up his mind because I had the same prob with my fiance a while back he would disappear for weeks on end and he told me it was because he didnt know what to do... Now If you really don't want to deal with that just let him go move on.

are you serious did he call you, exactly girl the next time you see him you pass him right by like is aint jack crp. Your better then him so stop lowering yourself to his level. Don't even try to play that with the next guy, you play the evasive one when he calls don't answer, and if you do don't say a word.

If you haven't seen him in a week or two, maybe he is trying to tell you that he is not into you. Maybe it is better to move on with someone that wants to be with you.

tell the old guy first.... it wouldn't be right to move on without him knowing that u aren't together.. plus that could cause an argument.. if the old guy sees u with the new guy... and u didn't tell the old one.. then he will prolly beat the crap outta ur new guy.. lol
