That is the question, How do u find that one true love or does it really exist in today's world.There has to be a soul mate for me and I know there is so give me your opinions and stories on how u found your true love.

That's a good question. I have been married twice and engaged several times without marring them. Its so hard to find Mr. or Ms. right. I know he is out there but how do you find him. Is there a such a thing as love any more. I don't know. But I do know this, settling is not the answer, The right person is out there. Somewhere.
Every thing happens for a reason. The person you are meant to be with is out there. Just let love find you. It will.

I don't think you can find a true love, they just come to you. There is someone out there for everyone, if you ever find that ONE true love you'll know when you do, or it could take a while. When i met my now husband, I really didn't want to give him the time of day. But there was something about him, I just couldn't get my mind off of him. So I agreed to go on a date with him, and now I'm happy I did. But it took me a year or so to really know that he was the one. I had always had the thought in the back of my head but when he proposed to me I knew it was a real feeling. And now we've been married for 4 years and have our second child on the way. And we look forward to 50 more years together,

I too am a work in progress...
I do believe in true, lasting love. But I know that one of the reasons it's so rare in todays world is because we're all carrying baggage; especially at our age -- we're jaded.
But once the individuals each reach a point of maturity or self-actualization where they can let go of their insecurities and fears, then they're truly free to enjoy and share real intimacy and unconditional love.
(sorry about the psychobabble - I just can't come up with a better word right now)

True love does exist. I don't think you can find your true love. I think you have to find each other. If you spend all your time looking for a soul mate, you may be overlooking the perfect person who has been in front of you the whole time.
