No, women do not expect men to make the first move, but you would have to show enough interest to allow the object of your desire to know that you are in agreement and would like to enjoy her company. You could always ask her to give you a call sometime and express that you have enjoyed the conversation and take things from there. I think dating is an equal opportunity thing that both sexes should feel free to participate in!

Some woman are forward and do make a first move. But I myself like the man to take the initiative. Don't be shy. Maybe someone is waiting for you to approach her.

You need to be a man, walk up to a woman and start a conversation. That's how it works. Being shy is something you can overcome. You're just afraid of rejection, so you avoid the situation altogether. Why do you think you've been single for so long? Stop acting like a shy little boy and show a little confidence in yourself. It will work wonders!

No, men don't always make the first move. There are some very strong minded women at there that take the initiative and will make the first move. Plus sometimes we can tll that men are too shy and we'll just do it to ease their nerves.

I don't know how women feel about this in general, but since I'm extremely shy around men, I usually prefer if men make the first move.

A gentleman should always make the first move. A girl will give you signals when it is okay to make a move. If she doesn't or you just aren't sure, just ask her, "is it okay if I kiss you", what will that hurt? All she can say is yes, no or kiss you first. Then take it from there. You're a big boy, you can read body language if it's going well. Nana

its time to come out of your shell and be more self confdent. start by going to a club or bar with a few of your best buds then practice aproching wemon by asking them if there haveing a great time what there name is saying they look hot asking them if they go their often just start a conversation with them and yes it is up to the guy to make the first move. the key is feeling confident.
