NO, Milk atho not bad for you, is not good for you. Yes it is packed with calcium and is now piggy backed with Vitamine D but our bodies still can't abosorb calcium in milk, You are much better off to eat some brocilli or tuna fish. Also and the worst part that Dairy, All Dairy causes our body to produce extra mucas. In your sinus' and your intestens. The extra mucas in your intestins prevents your body from absorbing the nutriants from all the other food we eat. Try cutting out dairy for two weeks, And I mean ALL dairy. ( this is very hard to do ). If you can, try a piece of pizza or a glass of milk after two weeks and see how bad you feel after the you have dairy.

Milk is a great source of calcium. However, if you are a vegetarian or a vegan, it can wreak havoc on your digestive system. Your body is no longer acclimated in breaking down dairy products. There has also been questions from scientists as to why the enzymes in milk seem to have an effect on breaking down fat in the abdominal area of humans. Of course, it's from milk being drunk in moderation and consumed in a healthy amount.

No. People say it's for calcium but here's the thing. The cow gets the calcium from the grass it eats. We all get whatever leftover calcium that the cow didn't use. We are the only creatures that still drink milk after we've grown. If you want the calcium you need, eat lots of dark greens. Spinach for one.

We drink milk because it is very rich in calcium, which is mostly in dairy products. It also has a lot of protein and I think it has vitamin B12 in it, too. Protein is one of the most important parts of our diets because our bodies are made of it; you get it from meat. You don't have to drink milk but it is easier to get these nutrients from milk with a lower number of calories instead of eating more foods and taking in more calories to get the same nutritional value.

You don't have to drink milk even though you should. If you don't like it you should try calcium enriched soy milk or another dairy free product enriched with vitamins like Silk. Vitamins in pill form are expensive and not really worth the money when you can get them included in your food.

YES! Especially people living in the colder parts of the world. Milk provides vitamin D which is enriched in milk because the only other source of it comes from the sun- in which it is absorbed by your skin. If you are getting adequate amounts of sunlight, than milk is not necessary; however, it provides calcium which is good for bone health.

The answer is yes and no.
Milk is important for it's calcium and fat. If you eat cereals calcium-enriched, yogurt, cheese, or calcium-fortified orange juice, then you may not actually need milk. What you need to take in account is that if you consume your daily calcium requirement, then you would not need milk.
WHY DO YOU NEED CALCIUM?
Calcium is necessary for strong bones and teeth, but also, calcium is required for every cell of the body to function in a healthy way. Besides acting as a cellular cement for bones, calcium is used by nerves and muscles, and it also contributes to proper blood clotting.

No, but it is a good source of calcium. As long as you get your fair share of calcium, you can do without milk. However, if you are not lactose intolerant, drinking milk is a convenient and inexpensive way to prevent osteoporosis.

The short answer is no. Many adult humans are lactose intolerant. Specifically, Caucasian people are more able to digest milk. That being said, if you can digest it, milk products can provide lots of nutrients: protein, etc.
