When Jessica asked prayer for her son, many refused or said they were busy.

Regardless of what you beleive or what you don't - couldn't you have been a little kinder?
I mean you could have said 'good luck' or 'I hope it works out' or something to that effect.
Are those 2 pts so precious to you that you had to be so mean to this woman. Imagine how you would feel if you or someone in your family was in this situation?!

I totally agree.
This poor woman was asking for support, and all some people could do is spit on her as they "walked" by.

This world is tough. As am I. I am not familiar with the situation you have mention, as soon as I saw the words "you people" "so cruel" I just HAD to come in here and check it out. Most of these people do not care about your problems they are just bored and want points. Most people know I am a tough love kinda guy, BTW I am Christian. I am sorry about the rudeness of others. I hope Jessica's son will be touched by the Holy Spirit in a way that fixes his situation for the better. You all have my best of wishes. Good night and amen.

Sad, isn't it? I blame a lot of it on the media. We see so much direction of fighting to get ahead, doing gross things, insulting others and then, what good examples are being set by those around them as they were forming who they would be. Possibly the only thing that can be done is to 'pity those' that are cruel for there is such a thing as karma. I think most likely these people are miserable and feel like losers so they try to inflict the misery they are feeling on others.

James 5:13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

5:16 Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Isn't Internet anonymity great? It allows for free expression of ideas, which sadly includes immature jack@sses acting like degenerate morons.

I, like others, prayed for her
