Went last year on the Disney Magic. It's a great cruise for families, but can be overstimulating for the little ones. I would only recommend it if you're bringing kids.
Entertainment was top-notch----I've never seen better on a cruise ship (I've been on 5 cruises, counting this one). It's geared toward families, obviously, but was as enjoyable for the grownups as for the kids. It's the only cruise line on the sea that offers first-run movies. It's the only cruise line on the sea that sets off it's own fireworks.
Food was disappointing.
Lots to do, and plenty for adults, too, not just the kids. If you go, make sure you reserve a dinner at Palo----the adult only restaurant---for one night of the cruise, or for a brunch. Be aware that if you've been on other cruises, Disney does not have a casino.
You might check out cruisecritic.com---lots of info on Disney and other cruises, as well as the ports.

I have been on many Disney cruises and have no plans to stop now. The cruise is really great. If you have children they will love it and likely have a better time than any other ship. If you don't, there are still lots of things for adults to do. The shows are amazing. If you love Disney, you will like the cruise even more.
The rooms are a little bigger than other lines. They keep the ship really clean. The service is unbelieveable, hard to find anythinng better. The food is pretty good, considering how many people they have to feed and you are in the middle of the ocean.
It is a great cruise line. I think that the service is better than a lot of the other cruise lines and to match it you would have to spend a lot more.
I think Disney is a great line and will be back!

We really enjoyed the Disney Cruise we took...with Disney there is always attention to detail and everything is top notch and the kids have a great time. If you are looking for a top of the line family cruise Disney is a good bet. If you are looking for something a little less pricey but still a great cruise for family fun try Royal Caribbean. We are running a special offer that you will recieve a shipboard credit when you book your cruise through us. Visit bctravelcompany.com for details.

Yes it was great, we booked here http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/dcl/en_US/reserve/reservation
We did the 4 night land and 3 day cruise it was fun. The call it land and sea package. You get to visit the theme parks and water parks, we stayed in on of their resorts for 4 nights then the cruise for 3 nights and roundtrip air from NJ all these incuded in the package. You can do the cruise only if you want. It was pricey. Another great site is http://www.rhoda.joystar.com
