CA, I bought it on 2/22/06 got it on 6/07/06, but I still don't have the license plate and it exp. on 12/01/06, what can I do about this?

Did you buy a used car from a dealer??? If you did, then the dealer should have taken care of that for you.
If the car had no license plates, then you should have got new plates WITH the stickers. Unless the dealer did not notify DMV that you needed new license plates. You will have to go into DMV (it can not be done through mail) and request new plates. They will have you fill out form 'REG 156' (Application for Replacement Plates/Stickers), and it will probably cost $17. Unless you can get the dealer to cover the cost for not doing what they should have done. Make sure you (the registered owner) are the one who goes into DMV, and bring your license with you.

In Alabama u have 20 days from the date of purchase to register ur car. When u do register it u get ur information and tag that very same day. I guess some states are different.

Depends upon your state. Here, you can register your car as soon as you want, but need to do it within 30 days.
