There is a guy I like, but he is going through a bad time right now and is not ready for a relationship. Every time I try to get him out of my mind and move on he does something (i.e. a look) that makes me think he's still interested but just not ready yet. Could this be Gods way of telling me to hold out and wait on him?

Keep on going.... but keep him in the X files until he is ready. If you are meant for each other... the time will come. For now, enjoy life and meet more people... it will be for the best and you won't be kicking yourself afterwards for waiting and doing nothing.

i do not think i would wait around for him at all.. he basically said that he was not ready for a relationship.. he might of just been being nice and saying that because he does not really want to date you...i do not think god would work in this way.. try and find someone that cares about you and you like and start as friends first then move on to something else if it is what you both want.. let this guy see that you do not care and you are dating someone else and if he does by chance care then he will make his move then..

If he told you he is not ready for a relationship - move on! 'A look' is not a sign that he is interested - if you hang around he may just use you to relieve his boredom. You will be more attractive to him and others when you have a life of your own and don't NEED a relationship to define you. Anyway you don't want to start a relationship with someone going through a bad time - then it becomes your bad time!

Maybe not, but it means that your friend is having doubts. He should hold true to himself.

Don't let this uphold your life as a follower:

* be with your friends
* play sports
* do schoolwork
* engage in prayer and biblestudy
* excersize
* be good to your family.

I would try to comfort him and talk to him and all that and maybe he will move on but if he can't move past whatever it is that is bothering you then you should move on because you can't wait forever. But you should atleast try to wait awhile he might be wanting you to be there for him and to help him.

Yeah, god is taking time to guide you in your relationship while millions of people die in wars around the world.

You run with that.

NO, it's his way of keeping you close with out getting too close. Be yourself, go out and do things. If he is missing you and wants to be around you...beleive me...he will call or wanna hang out with you!

Nope. It's the ever-popular "you're a puppet on a string and I'm controlling you and your emotions."
This is a common game.

Maybe its not God....

Maybe this is a temptation??

Is this someone who will be with you in Gods grace or is this someone who might lead you down the path of destruction?
