how do i find out if we are a match before i take her out to dinner?

You could always talk on the phone a few times, however sometimes that doesn't help either. You might really like the person on the other end of the phone and then when you meet them you don't feel the same. Sometimes people get nervous on a first date and have difficulty being themselves. I am not sure that this helps...however it is my opinion.

She's ashamed to tell you what she finds irresistable. Don't push her for an answer or she'll lie.
There's no sure and reliable way of determining if two people are a match. They have to get to know each other well, and even then it isn't a certain answer.

Only she can answer that. If she has already told you that you guys were not a match I would forget her and move on.
