You're her mother ... and you are seeking the advise of other 13 year olds? If I thought that was true I'd suggest giving your daughter up for adoption. Judging by your other questions I assume you are asking the question for yourself. You don't have to do a thing. He's your best guy friend ... you like him that's good. Relax.

Let her figure it out. She has to do it some time on her own. I know you want to help out your daughter but sometimes the best help is to just listen to her and be there for her. Let her decide what she should do if anything. If she is wanting to talk to him about it.. it will take courage and that builds better character. If she is too shy.. then maybe she will step out of the shyness somewhat by going after what she wants. Good Luck

It sounds like time for you to sit her down and have the talk with her. Make sure she knows about STD's and Protection. That is most important. Make sure she understands that it is most important to be safe. Also Telling her to absolutely not do something is to almost dare her to do it. so be careful on forbiding sex, just tell her that it should be when she is old enough that it can be with someone she truly loves and it can be special. That is the best advice I can give. My parents told me these things and I waited until I met my Ex wife at 22. It was special because it was with someone I cared deeply about and eventually married.

I had the biggest crush on my best guy friend, I was 18 at the time and he was 24. He was so sweet, we use to go out all the time. We had "dates" we did everything together inculiding sleeping together now we never had sex but I was totally in love with this man. When I finally got up the courrage to tell him, I just looked at him and said "James, I have the biggest crush on you and I want to be with you, I want you to dump your gf" he just looked at me and said no, I love her (I hated her with a passion) we still were friends but our friendship was never the same. Just depends on good of friends they are!!

Tell her to breathe. Then YOU go get a drink and read a parent's manual.

Tell her that unless he's indicated he's interested, leave it alone. It will only cause her hurt in the end.
