I didn't find it hard, but most of the people I talked to said it was difficult. Keep in mind that the 50th percentile is good, especially since the group taking it isn't all directly competing with you.

No, it covers some Basic math, Fractions and Basic Algebra.
IF, you can get one of those Books that help you Study for your GED it give you everything you need to know. IF, you feel confident in the other areas just study the Math part, over and over!!!!!! You will do well.
I have helped a few friends study for their GEDs they did great, just study the book.
May need to know the Hypotenuse of a Triangle.
When you start the Math part, go through and answer your easy questions first then go back a Figure the Hard ones. You may get more correct this way.

I didnt think so...
It was pretty basic stuff...
i dropped out in 11th grade but
10th was the last yr. i had a math class
i had geometry and algebra and i passed with flying
colors. I didnt take any of the classes they offer before the test
and I ended up with the Honors Diploma.. Just do some studying on the stuff you dont know and GOOD LUCK!!!!

If you can add, subtact, multiply, and divide all kinds of numbers (decimals, fractions, whole numbers), you'll pass about 33% of the test.
If you know basic Algebra, that's about another 33%.
Geometry is the final component.
If you know what you're doing, it's not too bad. Study up!!!

The math on mine was like 9th grade level. It wasn't bad at all. but every test is different.
