Am over 40 with master's degree. Have good education but must have job to live/stay in general area. Have no help from relatives. Unmarried.
What's a person to do?

There are jobs everywhere! They might be toilet scrubbing but until something better comes along, it's a job!

you can get a job that is near to your experience or take anything until it comes along the ine you want. i've known a few people in your situation and put their resume' om monster.com by using the local library computers. if you have any skills. sometimes you can barter them for a place to live and some money. with a maters, you can teach also.

I am sorry what ever happen to you. If you live around Columbus area. Wal-mart and meijers is hiring. It might not be much but at least is something. To wait for an opening for your training.

This sucks.

You're going to have to do it the hard way. Start out at McDonalds and work your way up to the position you want in your field.

mc Donald's...a janitor....anything to get a place, then you have a place and can start looking for a job in you field....how do you have internet for yahoo answers????
