Which one do u mean
Gay is an adjective meaning "carefree", "happy", or "bright and showy"; however in modern usage, gay is a word usually used, as either a noun or adjective, to refer to homosexuals; persons sexually oriented toward members of their own gender.
"Gay", when used as an adjective, sometimes describes traits associated with both homosexual men and women, their culture, or perceived lifestyle. The term lesbian, on the other hand, is used exclusively in a gender-specific way to describe homosexual women.

are you asking a question about the cause of homosexuality? interesting...some people believe is it chemical reactions during pregnancy...some think it is something to do with older siblings...some think it is choice....
Or are you saying that genealogy is gay? that is possible, but i find it hard to believe that a hobby could develop a sexual preference.
Or possibly that the people who do genealogy are gay? I think that is what you were getting at. I don't know, maybe they want to find someone. Lots of people have lots parents or children or something and ask Yahoo! answers.

Why can't you tell the difference between different Yahoo Answers categories? This is the Genealogy category. Genealogy has to do with the study and research of family history.
