Using proper punctuation might have made this riddle less confusing for some. The way you have it, it looks like the man takes one right turn and then walks 30 steps.

seeing the man's sense of direction he was at the north pole so i'm saying white for a polar bear but the polar bear would also have some red on his mouth and torso from eating the man!
