i think cats are the most beautiful thing the lord has ever created! cats are wonderful glorious joyous beings, that make my life a joy, i thank god everyday for my wonderful furry children, i could not stand it without them they are a giant part of my life, god bless

When I owned dogs, I preferred dogs....until I had a cat. The more affection you give a cat, the more you'll get back.
Yes, you can train a cat. I had a cat who if in earshot of my whistle would come trotting across our field. It was neat. Even if she were falling off my lap, she would never extend her claws.
Now, I still will pet a dog, but I hate wet dog smell. I can't see getting up to let out a dog who might dig up my flower garden.
One of my three cats will demand she sit on my lap in the evening. She squeeks rather than meows and she won't stop till I let her up...she has definitely gotten me trained.

Well, this actually depends whether you're a cat or dog person? Personally I like cats very much, but I have nothing against dogs either =)

If a house cat can whip a dog, the dog should be called a mouse.
I like big guard dogs.
I'd rather have a cat than a little ratty dog.

I prefer cats, but I like dogs, too. I already have kids so I don't need another creature that wants to be with me every second.

As I have 2 cats I would have to say cats....They are easy to train and I dont have to clean up thier poops...

it really matters on the temperment of the animal. personaly, i would like a dog more than a cat, because they are more social, but i would never trade my cat for a dog. even though she is very shy and testy, i love her more than anything.
