FIRST! Got to a bathroom right away. It may not be as bad as it feels. Wipe out all the mess you can and try to absorb any wetness left behind. If it didn't go through to your slacks, then fold up some T.P and make a pad between you and your underwear. It will absorb moisture from both sides.
Men and women who've had rectal surgery of any kind often have this side effect for months or years after. It may be beneficial to put sanitary pads in you shorts daily just in case. Buy the thin ones. They don't show through and you'll be a WHOLE lot better off than messing through to your slacks. Then you're really screwed.
A pad will help you get through a work day without having to go home go home after a minor slip. If you didn't need it that day, great! It's mighty cheap insurance against a completely humiliating situation.

You go to the bathroom, clean it up the best you can hoping that your excretions didn't show up through your pants and try to borrow, or attain a new pair of underware and pants with as minimal embarrasment as possible.

play it off like you didn't, and then ask the people your with if the smell sometihng funny, then blame it on them. then invest in some adult diapers
