When I see these creatures, it reminds me that there has got to be a Creator. Where do you non-believers think something so amazing as a Peacock or any creatures on this earth, including us wonderful but sometimes awful humans...come from ? How can you think it's "Big Bang" theory or whatever ? I'm not real religious but believe in God. I see his creativity and imagination in the little things. What about all the food he's provided...it's amazing to me. Look at bananas, watermelon, lemons, etc...etc...the scents of them all...the tastes. Amazing to me !! What do y'all think ?

Great question...I do sometimes wonder when I'm alone, and randomly too. It amazes me of how trees and this diversity came into nature--the flowers, trees, birds, etc. It is very cool, it feels great to think about these things. I just absolutely hate it when scientists try to take thing of such beauty and religion too and make it a world of science! I mean, they now created the stupid theory that the upper atmosphere of the earth is heaven and the lower core within the earth is hell. I mean come on! Leave things how they are...I do believe there is God but some people can't seem to leave nature and the earth the way it was born.

People just don't understand, half the world is dead because of what we do and things like this will continue. Anyway great question...loved to take the time to answer it.

(By the way, animals today and in the past amaze me, the things they do and how they can adapt. It's awesome, a dinosaur, giraffe, zebra, parakeet, etc.)

It's so nice to read your comments...sometimes I think there's way too little sensitive and perceptive and thinking people existing out there anymore. I, too, can't help but to see God in every living thing. I can see His creativity, His intelligence, His personality, in everything around me. I can see how He is constantly trying to remind us of Him in this world He created for us. I think your belief in God is probably more real than alot of people who are into some religion and believe in God only according to the dictates of that religion. God is way beyond any religion. He is in your heart, and in the hearts of all beings. And even if there was a "big bang," so what? That "big bang" came from some other energy that made it happen. Never stop being amazed...and when you see a beautiful sunset, or whatever, that's His love you see. So so awesome it is!

Charles Darwin sums it up at the end of his "The Origin of Species"
"Thus, from the war of nature, from famine and death, the most exalted object which we are capable of conceiving, namely, the production of the higher animals, directly follows. There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one;and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved."

Your argument is similar to that of William Paley's (1802) he compared the intricacy and beautiful design in nature to that of a watch; the precision with which the cogs and springs of a watch are fashioned and the intricacy with which they are put together leads him to conclude that the watch must have a maker (just as you've concluded a beautiful bird (Peacock) must have a creator) . A maker who "formed it for the purpose which we find it actually to answer; who comprehended its construction and designed its use"
This analogy is false, the only 'watchmaker' in nature is the blind forces of physics. Natural selection is the blind, unconscious, automatic process which darwin discovered, and which we now know is the explaination for the existence and apparently purposeful form of all life, has no purpose in mind. It's the "blind watchmaker".
I am more amazed by nature for appreciating these facts. The wonder and awe I feel when I see such 'creativity' ,beauty and 'imagination' in nature is all the greater because I don't beleive in a 'watchmaking' creator who designed all the cogs and springs in nature. "There is grandeur in this view of life"

I think, how amazing this world is, that natural selection and lifes adaptations make everything unique and special. I realize there is no way "God" could have made all these things the way they are. If there is a God I think he just got it all started and stepped back to watch it work, let the science take over, like a boat on the river, the current, wind and rocks shape where it moves.

I am in awe daily. Everything from a brand new baby leaf on a tree to the sweet smile on a childs face to the muscles on the haunches of a running horse. Every single day I feel gifted to have the ability to see these things and appreciate the vision, the beauty. I don't ask myself the daunting question of how all came to be, I simply live with and appreciate that it is.
Nature is my church and trees are my Gods....

Like you I feel the same and have questions in my mind that can't be answered until after life. As creatures ourselves of this earth we all think differently but the majority have true hope where others only think derogatory in contrast to our beliefs. Theory is only a blank word in my vocabulary as it means nothing, only something that can change at any given time just like the clouds in the sky.
